Update

I know I have been really terrible about blogging...So one of my resolutions this year is to try to blog at least once a week. It's more of a way of way of journaling for me than to torcher everyone with my boring life.
So hooray for NYR (New Years Resolutions)!
So today my post will be about all the changes at work...(really boring, I know)
Earlier this month we received the announcement that there were going to be cutbacks. So far this month 33 people in VP and director positions will be out of a job on Feb 1. They merged more than 3/4 of the districts in the US. My position covers 1 district on my own. So everyone that holds a position similar to mine that is affected by the district merge may also be cutback. Luckily our district was one of the ones that was not merged or affected. I am so grateful everyday to have a job. Some people are not so lucky. Every morning when my alarm goes off and I think "ugh is it Friday yet?" I remind myself how very blessed I am to have a job that offers me a paycheck, has benefits, and gives me paid vacation and holidays. Which by the way I learned that since I'm in my 5th year with the company, I get 3 weeks paid vacation this year.
So today I am Thankful for my job :)

Glad you pointed that out! So many people complain about their jobs when others would give anything to be in their position! (I was one - that complained!) Glad you're still in! And glad to finally see an update! I think 6 months is a long enough break!
And thanks for having a show with me! My other 3 this month canceled! So thank you thank you thank you!!

Preston complains about his current job sometimes but then always remembers that he's thankful to have one, even if it doesn't pay well and its not in the area that he wants to be...at least we get a paycheck.
I'm just thankful that I'm in a field that has rarely, if ever!, had make cutbacks because people do need their drugs! ;)
SOOO glad that you didn't lose yours! Love you!
